People often call this a Christmas cactus but did you know it's not even a cactus? These succulents are commonly called Thanksgiving cactus and have similar blooms to the Christmas cactus and can bloom around the same time of year.
The easiest way to tell them apart is that the Thanksgiving cactus has serrated edges on it's flat leaf segments while the Christmas cactus does not.
